The DCNY Ranch Dog Coat is a Doggie Couture NY ranch coat cut for small dogs. Wide hook-and-loop closures at the chest and belly make it quick to fasten and adjust, and the coat is machine washable.

Small, slim or short-haired dogs often feel the cold sooner than larger dogs with thick fur. If you are unsure whether your dog needs a coat in your weather, ask your veterinarian.

Sizes XXS to M: measure before you order

The coat comes in XXS, XS, Small and Medium, and custom sizes are not offered. Measure back length, neck and chest before you choose a size.

When the coat arrives, check the fit. You should be able to slide two fingers under the chest and belly closures, and your dog should walk, sit and lie down without the coat pulling or rubbing behind the front legs.

XXS and XS have a built-in leash clip. Small and Medium have a harness opening, so your dog can wear a harness under the coat.

Washing and drying

Wash the coat on a gentle machine cycle and lay it flat to dry. Fasten the hook-and-loop closures first so they do not catch on other laundry.

How do I measure my dog for a coat?

Stand your dog on a level surface and use a soft tape. Measure back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, the neck where a collar sits, and the chest around its widest part just behind the front legs. What if my dog is between two sizes?

Measure again with the tape snug but not tight. If your dog still falls between sizes, the larger size generally leaves more room to move, and on Small and Medium more room for a harness underneath. If you are unsure, email your measurements to info@iglomart.com before ordering, because on change-of-mind returns you pay the return postage and a 15% restocking fee applies under our returns policy.

Can my dog wear a harness with this coat?
