Description
A slip lead is one piece: the loop goes over the head and the lead is already attached. That is why rescue staff, trainers and sports handlers use them — no buckles, no clipping a leash onto a dog who will not stand still.
Details
- Reflective design woven in — the pattern itself is reflective, not a strip glued on top.
- Padded handle — comfortable to hold even against a strong dog.
- Two widths — one inch and three-quarter inch.
- Six designs — blue diamond, blue paws, green diamond, orange diamond, pink diamond and pink paws.
Honest note
A slip lead tightens when a dog pulls. That makes it an excellent handling and training lead and a poor everyday choice for a dog who pulls constantly — for that, a harness spreads the load across the chest. Keep the stopper set so the loop cannot close further than it should, and position it high on the neck. See harness versus collar and how to stop a dog pulling.
