Description
The handle is the point. A strap across the shoulders gives you somewhere to take hold when a dog lunges at a cyclist, needs lifting into a boot, or has to be steadied on a vet table — all things a collar handles badly.
Details
- Easy-grab handle — immediate control without grabbing the collar or the scruff.
- Reflective strip — sits above the D-ring, where a car’s headlights catch it.
- Quick-release buckles — on and off without going over the head.
- Adjustable webbing — fine-tunes the fit within each size.
- Four sizes by chest — 15 to 19, 20 to 26, 26 to 36 and 36 to 46 inches.
Fit comes first
Measure the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs, and pick the size that leaves room for two fingers under the strap. Our guide on measuring a dog for a harness shows where the tape goes, and a dog backing out of a harness is almost always a fit problem rather than a harness problem.
