Description
Bags work on a walk. They do not work for a weekly pass over the garden, especially in wet grass. A long-handled set lets you clear the whole lawn without bending once, which is the only version of this job anyone keeps doing.
What is in the set
- Long-handled pan — metal, with a flat front edge that sits flush to the ground.
- Rake — tined head for pulling waste out of grass and off uneven ground.
- Spade — flat blade for hard surfaces, paths and patios.
- Three pieces — rake into pan for lawns, spade into pan for concrete.
Good to know
Rinse the heads after use and let them dry, or the next job is twice as unpleasant. Dog waste does not belong in a compost heap or a garden bed. If you are in a flat rather than a house, disposing of dog waste in an apartment is the more useful read.
